Ian
Occupation: Cook
How would you describe your personal style?
Myself. I’m Scottish heritage, so I love wearing the plaid. I love punk bands, so I always wear a punk band shirt or a metal shirt, with my skateboard, my old school Vans, and a nice bag.
Where do you get your style influences?
Basically, from punk bands.
What are some of your favourite punk bands?
Cheap Sex, The Casualties, The Skeptics, U.K. Subs, Subhumans, Anti-Flag…
That’s a lot.
There’s more, but yeah.
Is there something you’ve got on that you especially like?
I guess the shorts. I made these myself.
Why did you make them?
Because the plaid was sick. It’s in reverse plaid. Again, I love punk, I love the plaid that punks always wear, so I thought, “I’ll make my own pair of shorts,” because I’m cheap.
How did you get into making your own clothes?
Lack of money.
What can you tell me about your hat?
My fedora? My fedora’s been in my life about 15 years. I’ve always had this hat. Tim Armstrong from Rancid has put this hat on. Ken Casey from Dropkick Murphys put this hat on. So, this hat means the world to me.
They put it on? How did that happen?
At different concerts. People just love the fedora, so they like to wear it on stage.
So, they grab it from you?
Oh yeah.
OK, what else do you like to do? What are your interests?
Playing bass, drums, skateboarding, and meeting hot chicks.
What’s your current obsession?
You.
What do you want to do in the future?
I want to get into pre-law.
